Nice

Nice room especially the shower, ample parking space and very good location.

Had to wait awhile for staff to return to desk to check-in, no way to ring a bell or get their attention

Was great for a short stay at short notice. Host was very friendly and polite.

I didn't expect their to be a hallway that connected ALL of the other rooms - that was VERY noisy when we were trying to sleep. Other than that, it was perfect.

the place to be in Whitianga!

the host went above and beyond to accommodate our needs! the deck behind our room was sooooo nice. and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. a quiet and lovely setting

the corner of the room had a bit of a mildew smell and the location is not close to town but there is plenty of parking so it’s no issue really.

Felt isolated especially with the wet weather.

The location was too far out of town approx 3 km away and these were also the closest shops and restaurants.

Pleasant enough.

We had a room next to a kitchen and sitting room so it was good to have that space for self catering. There are picnic style tables outside the rooms. The lodge is in a quiet setting. Whitianga itself is a great spot to explore the region. We enjoyed a boat trip to Cathedral Cove - highly recommend.

Further from town than I expected. Definitely need a car. Room was a little tired.

Bit misleading stating it was a 2 bedroom apartment.When it was actually I double bedroom,and a double and single bed behind a partition from the living area.

Peaceful location, 5 minute drive from Town centre.

Single bed was too narrow and slightly too small for an average size person.

Beautiful location, lovely hosts.

Beautiful quiet location. Lovely hosts. Comfy bed. We arrived late and the host was outside showing us where to park which we appreciated .

Parking is a bit awkward, having to reverse out of the park was not ideal.

We wanted a clean non-expensive place to stay a night and it fitted the bill exactly.

Great to have a clean room and warm welcome. Enjoyed having a view over some greenery.

Was not in the centre of town so needed a car to travel into town for restaurants etc but it wasn't a huge distance and it was more than compensated by having a view over the garden.

A quiet peaceful place & relatively close to the town

The staff were polite and gave us guidance on recommended places when we asked. The place was quiet and had a heat pump (very warm). Free parking & wifi.

The bed was super comfy, bedding soft. Heating was great. Manager was lovely. Room was big enough. Quiet spot just out of town. Great price

Shower pressure was low, shared kitchen for the rooms. Tv only had a few channels (not a massive deal!)

Quiet and clean facilities, extremely friendly staff, and good location.

It was clean, quiet, and relaxing. I can't remember who greeted us but he was extremely friendly and provided excellent service.

One of the cushions in our room had a funny smell and could do with a wash. Everything else was perfect.
