El Meson offered a charming stay in the heart of Coatepec. The hotel staff were excellent and helped with parking and offering recommendations for dinner etc. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well kept. I appreciated the water jug in the hallway offering clean drinking water without the use of plastic bottles. Loved that!
The room I booked (#7) was a good size, but the bed was very small. It was a Full size instead of a Queen size. It was not a problem since I was there by myself, but it would have been too small for two people. The breakfast was fine but it starts at 7:30am, so if you have earlier plans, you will miss it. They do not offer a "to go" breakfast option. Lastly, the wifi was ok, but it was not great for videoconference.

"Location and that they offer parking for your vehicle. You can find street parking across the street from the hotel, but it’s always safer to park inside. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious."
