Svetna at the front desk was very helpful, friendly, and courteous. The room was clean and cozy, although carpet is due for replacement (but they provide slippers). Great breakfast.

Good substancial breakfast with eggs, crapes and local cooked items. Few pastry options. Machine made coffee options were so so. Selections of teas. In general good breakfast. Engish speaking staff is ready to help with everything. That was very helpfull in the country where communication is hard unless you know some Rushian Outside garden is nice to sit for meals and well uses my hotel guests and locals. Beers are expensive but food is cheap. Do have international dishes.

Towels and bed sheets are not changed unless asked. Cracks and uneven surfaces, broken tiles outside tripp hazard but that is everywhere.

Location: Excellent location, easy to reach the city center, and with several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Room: Clean and quiet. Staff: Friendly and polite.

I stayed for two nights. Usually, rooms are tidied up the next day, but that didn't happen in this case. when I returned to my room, I noticed the toilet wasn't working. I informed the reception, and they came to check the issue and told me they would contact a technician to fix it. However, the technician never arrived, and I had to use the bathroom in the lobby.

The hotel is conveniently located. A relatively short walk past the monument to Kirghiz strongman Baatyr Kozhomkul leads to the central Ala Too Square from which other attractions can be reached. A cafe offering Internet access (through a laptop rather than just Wi-Fi) is connected to the property.

The hotel is that type of building through which sound travels. I did not sleep until the early hours on the first night because of the workings of the lift and other guests opening and closing their doors with traditional keys and locks. Despite already having paid for three nights, I seriously considered changing hotel on the second day but eventually decided to give it another chance. Fortunately I made the right decision as the problems did not persist (probably because the hotel was no longer full.)
