Just a fly by night everything I needed, comfy bed, shower, beer and dinner. I loved the atmosphere and thought it would be fun to rent a room in. The back packers for the family. Very nice fun welcoming feeling

Lovely West Facing room with afternoon sun. Small but suitable.

I noticed a plastic hook on the Bathroom door had broken of. This is not suitable for a Backpackers. A moulded metal chrome hook is better but you need to put it into the top rail of the door. Hollow Core doors are hollow inside. Tap the top of the door to hear the solid sound. The shower head was OK but awkward. A bit of water ended up on the floor which is not good. Somebody did a shambolic repair of a bead above the vinyl flooring by the WHB. Use thinners to clean of the glue. Try again. This is contact glue. You put it on each thing wait 10 minutes then press it together.

I liked the fact that the room had a desk and the bathroom for shaving after I was moved from my prebooked room that didn't have a mirror or a desk. Bar and dinner just downstairs with great staff service and good food but not the cheapest. Great Guiness.

Carpets and the overall decor was extremely outdated and worn. Shower rose was leaking badly due to semingly the lack of maintenance.beds were old and way too soft with pillows that didn't offer any support, but this could be down to me as I prefer a firm bed with firm pillows.
