This is a brilliant spot! Just a few minutes from Donegal town but seems like you're in the lovely Donegal countryside! Perfect! The B and B is a gorgeous modern (but not cold or clinical) house with large bedrooms with en-suites. The room was in perfect condition with absolutely spotless carpet and bedding etc. the bathroom had a large shower with hot water a plenty! The large bedroom had a bay window with two matching cool armchairs looking out and all the way down to Loch Eske. I was welcomed by Noreen who has run the place for over 30 years and she is a seasoned professional! Her welcome was warm and friendly and she got me settled into my room in minutes. I always struggle to sleep when away from home and I got a full night sleep in the very comfy bed. Woke refreshed and then enjoyed a freshly made full Irish. Noreen didn't have much to wash up after me! Delicious! I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. I will definitely be back when next in the area. Just as a final note the tv had many channels and the WiFi worked perfectly which I needed for work. The Arches- what a find!!!

Arches Country House was a home away from home experience. Noreen and her hubby were amazing hosts. The room was a great size with amazing soft towels! Breakfast was a feast. I was touring Ireland and this was my favourite stay .I will be back. Great atmosphere and friendly people.

There was a lovely choice for breakfast and it was cooked and served to perfection. We even asked for the landladies bread recipe, which she was happy to give us. The views are stunning and you could just switch off from the world in this beautiful place. Only a 10 min taxi ride down to the town for the craic and then back to the peace and comfort. Happy days!

The location is a tiny slice of heaven. 10 minutes out of Donegal Town on a winding road in the trees. The vet from the property over Lough Eske is incredible! The garden and grounds are stunning and it gives a fairytale feel to the entire stay. We were the only 2 guests that night and the owner couldn't have been nicer! She made a beautiful breakfast for us, a good strong cup of coffee and terrific conversation! I would go back here in a heartbeat!!!

This is by far the best B and B we have stayed in the room was Amazing with stunning views over Lough Eske . The host is so lovely and the Breakfast is spot on . I would have loved to stay longer 💕 we will definately go back .
