Food was really good. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there. All were great. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. It was real quite - was nice.

The premises were peaceful, and beautiful with lush gardens. The wife was very friendly and the food was appealing to the eye.
The owner (older man) had an attitude with me the whole time I was there. I went with my bf and 2 other friends. i stood in the “Colibrí” it was cat’s hair all over the furniture in the living room. Everytime we needed to used the stove we had to get assistance from staff bc it wasn’t working and the dog next door kept on barking at me anytime I passed by. I didn’t feel welcome even though I was the one paying!

Relaxing Quietness, with tender and loving care designed garden and cottages. Exceptionally friendly hosts. Top cuisine! Warm water in the bathrooms.

Excellents hosts, gracious hospitality from Giovanni and his wife. Enjoyed their company. Beautiful property, inlcuding the pool. Bungalows are spacious. Food was excellent—including breakfast.
No A/C in the rooms, beds were not comfortable and the wifi was only in the restaurant.

Amazing dinner with exceptional French cuisine, excellent chef!!! The place of total tranquility and charm, awesome gardening, big swimming pool. But you can come primarily to taste the best of the best cuisine in DR!!!

Awesome is an understatement. Las Puertas del Paraiso is a one of a kind place. For those looking serenity and tranquility with full confort and in contact with nature. An awesome staff (the owners, none other) that go out of their way to see to any need to make the stay a memorable event.
Not really Puertas del Paraiso's fault, but the region is still kind of out of the way and some services like banking, ATM's are scarce. Not completely out in the wilderness, just not as developed as the larger cities.

The hosts were great! Giovanny, his wife and daughter provided excellent service and the food was very good. They keep the place in lovely condition, with beautiful gardens. The rooms were clean and the bungalows had everything that was needed. Location is only a few minutes from town by car, which is very convenient. Our family enjoyed staying there very much.
