Sayang House

Great host who is very welcoming and helpful.lovely breakfast and room

Think the tv was very small

Superb location in the Shropshire Hills, ideal for walking straight from the house. Very friendly and helpful hosts providing a delicious breakfast and suggestions for places to visit and pubs to eat. Facilities for guests are fantastic, with large and comfortable lounge and small kitchen with fridge in addition to our room. We had a great visit!

Nothing!

Facilities were excellent. Hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

All was great

Pretty garden and bed comfortable! Good breakfast too, although if you don't want to chat to strangers, make sure there's 6 people in your party (or book a slot when other guests might be gone... this is not necessarily possible)!

Supposedly 'dog friendly' (there's a £10 fee per dog), but the female owner (a married couple running a B&B) was visibly judgemental when I gave my dogs the fat off my bacon. And, she said, "Don't let them on the bed or furniture," etc. I think they're tolerant, not friendly! We had lumpy pillows and could hear the traffic noise from our room (which had a tiny en suite shower room that was fine, but not for large people and the loo was behind the door). Ok, for a night or 2! Lastly, the male owner seemed to think it was acceptable to use a loud, electric hedge trimmer and then a sit-on lawn mower whilst we tried to enjoy the garden on a Saturday evening pre dinner (out)! This was inconsiderate (we were 4 of only 6 guests residing)! I would imagine that they'd have fewer guests (and not in the garden 'enjoying' some evening sunshine) on a Sunday or Monday?!
