We were happy with the central location in Alnmouth. The small community garden was perfect to catch the afternoon sun after a windy walking day.
The overly soft mattress meant I slept badly. The sloping floor in the bathroom was disconcerting. Disliked finding a damp bathmat on our arrival

It was a very cosy cottage. Coming back after a days walking to a log burner ( gas) was wonderful. Had everything we required throughout the property and it was very clean. We had a problem with the tv which we reported to the owner who took decisive action and had it replaced the following day. Our communication with the owner was very pleasant. Kitchen was well equipped, lovely bathroom bedroom with plenty of storage space. Nothing that we didn’t like about the cottage.
Everything was great. Nothing we didn’t like. Only thing to say is there is very little parking on the very narrow street the cottage is situated on in the centre of the village but we always found parking on streets within the village. This wasn’t a problem for us but if you have limited mobility it could be
