The home from home meal and the convenient location close to the border.
The guidance on getting through the border - drive past the trucks and go straight to the office.
Our Garmin sent us on a longer sand road route close to the venue - apparently this happens so watch the road signs and follow the signs to Gobblers Bridge border and the venue is just off that road 10km from the border.

We decided to leave early therefore we didn't stay for breakfast. We found the location quite convenient situated on the main route between Durban & JHB. We would definitely return for a stay in the future
We felt that the service in the restaurant was a little slow. We had to wait quite a while for our dinner to be served. Although the staff were exceptionally polite and very apologetic it was an uncomfortable experience

La la Nathi by far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our stay in this fantastic place. Everything was squeaky clean and fresh. The attention to detail is phenomenal. All our needs were catered for. The surroundings are beautiful, and we enjoyed the farm animals on the premises. The restaurant food is excellent, and the staff are extremely friendly. It is the perfect stopover between Bloemfontein or Johannesburg and Durban
Everything was perfect from La la Nathi's side. Just be aware that the highway is next to the guest lodge, and the traffic is hectic 24 hours a day. You hear the trucks straight through the night. It didn't bother us at all. But for sensitive people, this might be a problem.
