An unforgettable ryokan experience – we would give more than 10/10 if we could! We stayed in the largest room with our own private onsen and absolutely loved our stay. The room, the atmosphere and the entire ryokan experience were wonderful. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and attentive. They really made us feel comfortable and took the time to explain everything to us. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with many courses of traditional Japanese food. Together with the yukata and the onsen, it was exactly the traditional Japanese experience we had hoped for. We also really appreciated how accommodating the staff were regarding our tattoos. We asked beforehand about using the public onsen, and since it was very quiet at the time, they kindly allowed us to use it. Of course, this may depend on the situation and other guests, so we would recommend asking the staff beforehand. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer. One of the highlights of our trip to Japan and an easy 10/10!
