What a wonderful experience it was staying at this apartment, we loved it and the location was perfect. Very comfortable and such a privilege to stay in such a historic place. We would definitely recommend anyone considering this place. Very helpful and responsive owners too. Thank you!

Nothing of any significance.

The host, Fillippo, helped us with the check-in process then drove us to the airport himself to avoid early morning taxi mix-ups. It was great to hear about the background to this unique family property!

This was less a place to stay and more an experience—though it is also excellent accommodation. Filippo was a wonderful host: friendly, easy to communicate with, and always helpful. The apartment is one I will never forget. Stepping inside felt like entering a time capsule, an old Italianate home that seems largely unchanged for generations. It gave us a rare opportunity to experience a more traditional Italian way of life and to appreciate the character and history of the building itself. The apartment is enormous, with magnificent 4–5 metre painted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, grand fireplaces, and beautiful original dark wood furniture throughout. Every room is full of atmosphere and authentic period detail. If you’re looking for a modern, minimalist space, this may not be for you—but if you appreciate history, character, and a genuine sense of place, this apartment is truly special.
