appena oltre le piantagioni di noni, c'è la residenza di Matahere. Arroccata su un pendio che domina gli interni lussuosi delle aree, questa grande casa spunta tutte le scatole giuste quando si tratta di spaziosità, maneggevolezza per servizi, privacy e ambiente.
Matahere è in realtà due case completamente indipendenti ... al piano di sopra e al piano di sotto. Entrambi i piani sono esattamente gli stessi, ognuno con quattro camere da letto con letti king-size, due con bagno privato. Le camere hanno anche letti singoli o matrimoniali aggiuntivi. Le due camere da letto lato oceano si aprono sull'ampia e spaziosa veranda coperta con vista mozzafiato su Muri. Sul fianco della montagna sono le altre due camere da letto e un'altra veranda con vista sull'interno montuoso delle isole. Dire che la zona giorno principale è spaziosa sarebbe un eufemismo: è GRANDE con una cucina completamente attrezzata, un'enorme area soggiorno con TV e sistema audio da abbinare anche nell'area comune è la spaziosa sala da pranzo. Tutta la casa è stata arredata con cura e nominata dalla stessa Matahere. Il numero massimo di persone che ogni piano può accogliere è 12. Questo rende la casa ideale per le prenotazioni di famiglie numerose o gruppi di famiglie in vacanza insieme.

The size and location of this property is prefect and exactly what we needed for our amazing holiday in Rarotonga

The property is great. THERE was 3 couples a baby and 4 teens.Havinfg a ensuite in each of the 4 bedrooms are fantastic no waiting for showers and the bedrooms are really spacious if you want private time.The only thing I would reccomend would be a nice corner softee lounge suite would be good. The property is also in the perfect location. I will be reccomending this property to everyone I see. We alll loved it. I Come over yearly if you can reccomend something for just me and my partner in same location would be great.Thanks heaps Eddie what a great 60th birthday I had Cherie

The house was awesome. Very clean. Beautiful property. Has everything you need eg washing machine, kitchenware, microwave, decent fridge freezer, towels etc etc Good location right by murri markets and not far from murri beach. The care taker Mike that lives next to the property was awesome. Very helpful, and very accomodating. Such a nice man. This makes me not want to complain about anything at all.
But, for the sake of giving an honest review as these help me on my journeys also. My only cons would be if you aren't used to a hotter humid climate, the fans might not cut it for you. We had some really hot nights but we were also lucky to have a few days of rain so it cooled down abit. Also if you have kids and think the tv will keep them entertained at night or rainy days it doesn't pickup a signal so maybe take a chromecast or something to connect to the TV that can accommodate that. This is quite common in my experience coming to the islands though.
Other then that. Photos don't really do it justice it is a big beautiful house with ensuites in all 4 rooms. It is really good for bigger familys. With beautiful surroundings. And I would reccomend it to people I know would be able to handle the heat without aircon.

Wow what a neat place to stay for a larger group! Everyone had their own space inside and out with two outdoor areas and each bedroom having a private bathroom was the best! Location couldn’t have been any better either with 24hour store just down the road along with beach restaurants and more! Plenty of room for parking rentals! The property was nice and tidy and equip with everything you needed although if I could make one suggestion it would be to invest in some new pans as the the ones we used were pretty well had it. The neighbours (apart from the rowdy rooster which are kept right next door...eek!!) and care takers were super lovely and helpful! Our only real downer to the stay was a few stray cats which fought and sprayed(wee’d) all over the outdoor area including some of our water gear so we would advise to keep your belonging inside.

the property was great for big groups, but the beds and the lounge suite very uncomfortable. great facilities. awesome to have four massive bedrooms with four ensuites, kitchen had everything we needed, tv had very bad reception and instructions on how to use the dvd would be great, it rained a lot while we were staying and we had young kids but it took four days to get the dvd to play. MIchael the on site caretaker was awesome to deal with

Beautiful house, exactly like the photos. Second time staying at Mataheres and loved it both times. Perfect spot close to lagoon but well off main road for privacy and a racing toddler. Great caretaker always available to help. Clean and safe, just loved it!
