Perfect couples trip not too far from home. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and our dog loved running around the spacious backyard. We were even lucky enough to experience some snow! Would definitely come back.

This is the perfect cabin for a getaway from home. Not too far from the highway , but secluded enough to make you feel like you're in your own little world. The hostess was very kind and welcome when we arrived, and responsive when we checked out, but otherwise, it was just us. The cabin had everything we needed for a few days of relaxation. It was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at Lidie’s place! The cottage was very clean and well-appointed. The location was great, it was in a quiet and secluded neighborhood but still close to good hiking and restaurants/stores. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard and we all enjoyed sitting by the fire pit. The Kerricks made the process easy and were very responsive. Would recommend!

We stopped at Lidie’s Place on our way back from West Virginia. It was convenient off I-80, and was a great place to spend 3 nights. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, it was too cold for us to enjoy it. We found a couple of Rail Trails in the area to ride our bikes. We were comfortable and the house had everything we needed for our stay.

We and our pups had an amazing weekend getaway at Lidie's Place! What an adorable cottage, and surprisingly spacious. Everything was immaculate and well-taken-care-of. We loved the backyard almost as much as our two pups! It was beautifully landscaped and we even had some starter wood for the firepit since a tree had come down recently! Woo-hoo! The hot tub was super-relaxing and I wish I could live in there! The kitchen is lovely, rustic and well-stocked. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've stayed in at a VRBO. Overall, we loved, loved, loved our visit! We will definitely be returning to Lidie's Place, hopefully for longer next time!

Very nice secluded cottage with spacious backyard and hot tub. Off the beaten path but close enough to all the local attractions. Our pup loved chasing the chipmunks all around the fenced in backyard. Hospitable hosts, would definitely consider staying again when we are visiting the area.

My family and I enjoyed all that Blakeslee and the surrounding areas had to offer. The property was conveniently located and private; it definitely reminded me of my grandmother's country home in PA. The backyard was big enough for our 80-pound dog to enjoy the sunshine and for our young boys to play before our daily adventures. We did a lot of cooking at the property. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you need. The linens were a huge convenience, as we enjoyed the hot tub nightly. We thank you for your hospitality.

We have an annual family reunion in the Poconos and have stayed at a number of places and think we found the best ! Lidia’s place was fantastic. Clean , comfortable and charming. We will definitely be returning.

We booked this cottage as it was close to our family and we were able to bring our dog with us . The cottage is really nice and just as described. Was clean and owners made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating. We revived a welcome bag that was thoughtful for us and the dog! The fenced yard and hot tub were incredibly appreciated . We definitely plan to come back on our next family visit !

My mom, who is 82, born in Pennsylvania has never been to the Poconos. This was her dream to visit. We stayed 2 weeks and visited all the quaint towns. It was fun. The cottage was perfect, clean and tidy and with all the items we needed. The Kerricks were very responsive to our text messages and on our last night we had a bad storm causing loss of power. They brought over a LED lamp for us. We would stay here again!

My partner and I recently stayed with our two dogs while we were in town for some antiquing and hiking. The house was the perfect place to relax in between activities. The area is really quiet and such a breath of fresh air when you’re used to city living. The backyard feels secluded with the privacy fence and makes it even easier to unwind in the spa. Fully enclosed backyard was perfect for the dogs to be outside with us too. The kitchen had the essentials that we needed to make some meals at the house, and the bathroom was fully stocked with towels. Even had a washer and dryer we could use. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a secluded get away!

My husband, dog, and I all very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very clean, cozy, and well stocked. The fenced in back yard was a plus for us and our dog. We loved turning on the fireplace each night and the hot tub works wonders on sore muscles from hiking. There are many activities to complete close to the cottage and within an hour or two drive for exploring. Safe and quiet neighborhood, very private feeling. Had a great stay and would love to stay there again in the future. Very highly recommend.

Cute and clean cottage. Easy check in and good communication with owners. We had such a nice time. We enjoyed antiquing, good food and the hot tub was relaxing. We enjoyed Chat-N-Chew breakfast, Murph's Hideaway and Nick's Lake House for dinners. Highly recommend.

We stayed here the first weekend of the year for my daughter’s birthday. Cozy, comfortable, and clean cabin with most everything you need and close to grocery store. The hot tub and skiing, which is close in proximity, kept us busy over the weekend. Would highly recommend.

We wanted to spend a week in the Poconos and are so happy this quaint cottage in Blakeslee. Was very quiet and removed from everything yet many options within a 20-30 minute drive. Very close proximity to Jim Thorpe, antique shops and even 2 casinos. This is the perfect place for vacationing with your pet. Our dog, Pearl, loved the fenced back yard and walks on a very quiet road where we often spotted deer. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Our hosts were very gracious and accomodating. We hope to return again one day.

The cottage was perfect size for us and our furry friend loved exploring the enclosed back yard. The hi light was the wonderful hot tub. The cottage is close to everything. We truly enjoyed Murphs loft for dinner.

The owner welcomed us warmly and we were delighted to find the cottage as clean and comfortable as it appears in the VRBO listing. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer, but next year we will!
The welcome gift of coffee and dog biscuits for our pup was special.

Anniversary get a way
A cozy cottage with everything you need. A fenced yard for our 4 legged child. If you enjoy hiking. Parks everywhere within a reasonable drive. The cottage has all the modern conveniences you could want. The hot tub was just we needed after a long day of hiking. Our host the Kerricks, gave us a tour of the cottage. Explained where everything was. They even provided coffee, tea, and treats for our dog as a welcome gift. I would definitely recommend this cottage to everyone. Reserve early! Dont let this vacation stay get away.

This trip was just what the doctor ordered. It was peaceful and a level of quiet I haven't experienced in a very long time (we live in town, on a pretty busy street). Much thanks to our hosts.
