Location
Stinky rooms, lifts does not work, rooms too small, staff has excuses for everything but did not provide timely solution. They change room of my colleague 3 times in two days. They do not do the cleaning daily.carpet smell musty. Staff gets upset for asking questions.

This was an excellent location for airport access (bus) and museum visits. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We arrived very early in the morning from the USA, so of course our room was not available. We were pleased to be able to check in at 1:00 PM, however (see what we didn’t like, below)—
Our room for two people was the tiniest we’ve ever encountered. It may be because it was the first available (see above).

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to transport links and attractions. Within walking distance of a good choice of places to eat. The no. 397 bus offers a simple 30 min bus transfer from Schiphol airport direct to a stop at Leidseplein, which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. At less than 4 Euro per person it is the easiest (and by far cheapest!) way to get to and from the airport. A taxi will cost you around 40 Euro! Use either Google maps or rome2rio.com for help with this. The public transport is SO simple to use! Just tap on and tap off with a debit card.
Breakfast at the hotel is very good - and plenty of it! And if you're an early starter, make use of it, as we couldn't find anywhere serving breakfast locally that opened before 9am. However, don't add breakfast to your booking before you arrive, as the hotel will give you the first one free at check-in. Then check the price with them for subsequent ones, as if you book through booking.com, they should do it for 16.50 Euro PP (3 Euro off)
The room we were originally allocated was EXTREMELY small. I'd go so far as to say it was probably the smallest room my wife and I have ever stayed in! Sitting on the end of the bed, if you bent down to do your shoes up, you would hit your head on the wall, and there was not enough space on the floor for two small carry-on cases without tripping over them. But it was apparently of comparable size and design to most rooms of that standard in the hotel. However, when the poorly designed shower door decided to cover the postage-stamp sized bathroom floor with water, and there was no way to mop it up and no way anyone could enter afterwards without getting their feet soaked, I complained. Fortunately we were moved to a much nicer and larger room on the 4th floor, with a lovely view of the Rijksmuseum

Very rude staff at check in
He doesn’t respect the guest and dealt with is as if we are in a school

Interior clean, staff on front desk helpful, friendly. Breakfast was well worth the price. We had a superior room which was a good size and well stocked. There was a small fridge.
Someone was sick by the front steps outside: in 3 days no one hosed it down. We had a leaky tap in our room which we reported but it wasn’t dealt with-this did not impact on the room/our stay.

Comfortable rooms in a convenient location, the breakfast was fresh and with variety of options.

The location is awesome near the center and all the museums you want to see.
Tiny rooms, no closet, tiny bathroom. A bit run down, dirty carpet, curtains ripped off. Can’t order breakfast a la carte.

Location was great
The rooms were really small even if I booked the cosy double room. Not a value for the money that you pay.

The staff and service was excellent! They really took care of us.
Had a room towards one of the roads and it was quite noisy.

Great location for the main museums and for exploring the city
The bathroom was tiny. The breakfast was quite average with limited fresh fruit . The breakfast layout was quite disorganised and illogical

The room was small but the bed comfortable. Bathroom tiny but clean. Location was good, walking distance only to museums, bars and restaurants. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
The hotel bar wasn’t open for business the night we were there.

Location is wonderful and convenient. Room small, but adequate. Bathroom sink was poorly designed impossible to wash your face! And drain stopper did not close.
Very poor bathroom design, surprising for a 4 star hotel. Bathroom sink faucet was too long to properly wash your face, and sink drain did not work. Shower only had hand held, top shower head was missing. This is not what one would expect in a 4 star hotel.

Location was great. The staff upgraded us to a bigger room.
Breakfast became a bit repetitive?

excellent location for museums, and reasonable walking distance from bars, restaurants and clubs.
The cafe/bar inside the hotel is not a good value and service is incredibly slow.

great location!! so easy walk to museums.
Bath room is really small, no enough place and hooker to setup bath stuff and cloth, even no stable bar for towel

The location of the hotel was the only good thing I could comment on
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 teens .the room provided was very basic .
It was like staying in a dungeon
There was no place to even walk around the bed .
The sofa bed was very uncomfortable
The room was located in basement
We had smell the bad stench of the WC every time we moved in and out of the room

The hotel management does not work at all. Total chaos on arrival. We wanted to wait with coffee for accommodation. We ordered coffee three times but never got it. After an hour, we received accommodation only because we were satisfied with a lower quality than we ordered. Except for one person, the staff was unpleasant. Cit tax was charged to us twice, I will deal with it as a complaint. In the evening, we checked whether everything was okay. The hotel only uses the site next to the museum. The quality of the staff is aware of this, that's why it's terrible. There are not enough places at breakfast, you have to pick up the dirty dishes from the table yourself, no one took them away. You stand in line for coffee for 20 minutes.

Location was fantastic.
Our room was in the basement, or even below it, so our window was ar street level. The noise was horrendous all night long. Had to take some sleeping pills. To be fair, i complained the next morning and they offered us to accomodate in another roon, but my wife did not want to go to all that trouble,so we stayed there.
Also the rooms were made not in a very proffesional way, even our sons´s rooms one day was not made. So in general the experience was bad.

Just the position of the hotel and the breakfast.
People quite rude and manage quickly your requests. The bathroom smells awfull and was very little and expensive. I didn" t like
