In this lovely scenic location the hotel was very nice. Staff were nice and friendly. The food was lovely as were the rooms. I will definitely come back to the Peñas Arriba. ☯️🍀👍
The only thing was. Potes was a bit of a distance from the hotel.
But I didn't care.🇮🇪

Great location and room. The staff were good, dinner and breakfast also good - but see below.
No draught beer so ran up quite a bill on bottled beer - our own fault of course but you are a captive audience. Numerous things 'not possible' on the menu so ended up getting your second or third choice. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would go back.

An old fashion posada, very well kept. The room was comfortable, even though the shower could use some modernisation. The common room on the first floor was a big plus, big tables and space to chill about. Kind staff. The restaurant had a rather small offer but everything was excellent. It would have been nice to have one vegetarian option in the menu (beside the very tasty cheese platter).

Check in till late in night
Bathroom was quite small and old. No lift to carry your stuff upstairs, no soundproofing so lot of sounds come in from outside
