Absolutely exceptional. Gamirasu wasn’t simply somewhere I stayed in Cappadocia — it became a huge part of the experience itself. I specifically wanted to stay somewhere where I could feel Cappadocia rather than just visit the sights, and this was perfect. Being tucked away in Ayvali, away from the crowds of Göreme, gave me exactly that. And the history… extraordinary. I stayed in two different rooms during my stay, including a cave room dating back around 2,000 years. There is something quite surreal about lying in bed surrounded by walls that have held that much history. You don’t just look at the past here — you sleep inside it. The hotel itself is beautiful, atmospheric and incredibly comfortable, but what really makes it special are the people. The staff were warm, generous and genuinely caring throughout my stay. Nothing felt transactional. I felt welcomed and looked after, particularly as a woman travelling alone. Breakfast was beautiful, the pool and terraces are gorgeous, and everywhere you look there are little details that remind you where you are. I came to Cappadocia for the landscapes and the balloons, but Gamirasu gave me something I hadn’t expected — a much deeper feeling of connection to the place. If you want Cappadocia to feel like more than a sightseeing trip, stay here. ❤️
