Clean and good location

From my room it was a bit noisy from the bar and restaurant below. It was very much like an echo chamber.

Noise from downstairs travels upstairs, echoing kitchen noises. Outside street noise till early hours of morning. Only 1 pillow on bed,.should be more available No notice about rooftop plunge pool being closed. Reception staff inexperienced and uninterested.

It was very modern and clean, the pool area had some shade and enough pool space for multiple parties.

Nice concept and design. Quick check-in process. Bed is ok. But that's all...

The hotel when you entered has a very strong smell of essential oil/freshener that I felt sorry for the staffs working full time breathing this. I understand they try to give 5 star resort/spa vibe but this is not it unfortunately. Hotel seems to be in operation recently but facility is already run-down. In the bathroom, water leaks from faucet and drainage is very slow. In-room insulation is like made of cardboard. It's super loud when your neighbor starts showering; or when guests are in the cafe downstairs and they start the coffee machine. The noise woke us up multiple times. Last but not least, the pool has not worked since a few weeks and no one bothers to inform the guests who made booking before September (checked other reviews). We specifically chose hotels with pool since it can be hot during the day and a nice dip would be helpful. If we were informed in advance, we still could have made a decision for ourselves to stay or to make another booking. Only when I discovered and asked for the hotel's solution, they reluctantly gave ONE free breakfast, which we cannot accept due to next mornings' schedules. I believe we deserve a partial refund for the service we cannot use and the lack of transparency. Eventually, Booking.com CS provided us with support, but not from the hotel. So to conclude, we couldn't relax either at the closed pool or from our sleep, thanks to Amaranta Hotel.
