Hotel Heiligenstein

In the middle of a wine yard, the place offers spectacular views in a quiet environment. At only 15 minutes from Baden Baden, it was a nice place to stay and to take a dinner.

Great location. Convenient for Baden-Baden. Felt like a friendly family run hotel.

A kettle and tea tray in the room would have been nice.

This hotel is always my first pick when travelling. Wonderful team, really comfortable rooms, and gorgeous food. Best night sleep of my two-week holiday. I will always return here.

Lovely location in a quiet town. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. Service from the receptionist and most others was very friendly.

Perhaps for foreigners it should be clarified that the SAUNA IS NUDE, there were a couple of people walking about naked, which I understand is the norm in parts of Germany, but for international guests especially those with younger people travelling with it would be nice to enforce a different rule or at least stipulate this somewhere on a sign. The jacuzzis were out of order which should be mentioned at booking. The bath looked nicer than it was to actually sit in it, quite a strange design that hurts a taller persons back. Soundproofing is poor, through the walls we heard some inappropriate moaning during the night and early morning which isn't something you want to listen to. People talking loudly in the corridor woke us up. While the restaurant was good and the service at dinner was friendly, it was very expensive for what it was. €32 for a small cut of steak that was not seasoned at all was a little over the top, especially for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast was disappointing, the breakfast staff were a bit cold, and the selection is small. Not to mention half of the cooked food tins were empty at 9:45am and they started clearing everything before breakfast hour was finished.
