9 / 10Eccezionale·set 2026

A very good stay, clean, quiet and near the centre of town.

En-suite bathroom but not a problem

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large on site car park, property an easy walk into town. Bed was comfortable and tea making facilities was appreciated.

Is the «dining room» ever open? To be able to make breakfast on site would be a bonus.

8 / 10Eccellente·set 2026

Ample free parking. Large bath towels. Good biscuits! Ann gave timely information regarding how to access the property, and met us when we arrived. She was friendly and helpful in person.

The location of the house is not ideal - it's a long walk into the city down a road which has little of interest (apart from the ruined priory garden). Guests are encouraged to re-use their towels, but there is nowhere to hang the bath towels so that they dry out properly.

6 / 10Nella media·ago 2026

Really lovely housekeeping staff. The shower was excellent, place was immaculate. Easy to walk to from the city centre. Easy to find and park. Nice welcome brew, bottles of water and biscuits in the room.

Noise from other guests in their rooms and exiting, tired and outdated decor, old fashioned squeaky bed/furniture. Small bed.
