Everyone at the hotel was so lovely and welcoming. The swimming pool area felt tranquil and had a gorgeous view. The food at AO PONTO restaurant was delicious, with a decent selection of vegan options. We particularly loved the Forest and Smoke dish with lemon pickled celery. Fernando hosted us beautifully throughout the evening.

Would love to have more vegan breakfast options in the future.

The property is in a beautiful serene location, the staff is extremely warm and welcoming. The food is great. I tried the spa and had a wonderful massage. Everything felt very easy and convenient

The staff, particularly Lara on reception were all lovely, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the restaurant serves a good standard of food.

Not at all set up for families, there is a clue in the name it’s a golf resort frequented by baby boomer golfers. The so called family rooms are cramped and small with shelf like bunk beds which fold down from the wall, the alternative family rooms are suites for which at a cost of an extra 100euros a night your tween kids can share a pull out camp bed, so also not suitable. We chose this hotel as it had an indoor and outdoor pool knowing that the October weather wouldn’t guarantee an outdoor pool experience every day. What we didn’t expect was our 11and 12 year old kids would come face to face with naked older guests using the sauna and steam room whilst they swam in the indoor pool.
