Royal Porto City

Clean hotel and room, and very well located. Rosa is a sweet old lady that carries almost everything at the hotel. Go for the cheap value and clean room. Everything is very simple and the building is very old, so, do not expect luxury for the price. Oh, and be aware of the absence of an elevator if you are coming with heavy luggage, especially going to the 3rd floor like me.

A lot of hotel stuff over the floors, better put them inside one of the rooms for better visuals in the hotel :)

Maravilhosa. Voltaremos de certeza e recomendamos.

posizione idale. camera molto spaziosa e pulita. Servizi ottimi

The room was sparse but clean and comfortable. Ideal location for us as we tend to walk everywhere.

This hotel has definitely seen better days and is in no way represented by the pictures on line. I'm guessing it was once a grand apartment that has been carved up to provide small accommodation rooms. The bathroom had a bath only about 12" (200mm) deep with a shower over. It could have been designed by a child who was then let loose with a pot of blue paint and a brush. The furniture was chipped as was the door frames and the main room door had a 2" (40cm) gap at one end. The most important thing was that the coffee vending machine in reception was not working. Fortunately there is a very nice cafe just a few metres down the road. Apart from when we arrived, there never seemed to be anyone manning the reception desk. Having said all that our stay was pleasant enough and certainly reasonably priced.
