Theo Beach Hotel Apartments

The property was in the best location, a few minutes walk to the port and downtown and right across the street from the beach. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating from the reception desk to the cleaning ladies. In addition there is a market store right below on the main floor with everything you might need during your stay here.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.

The location was amazing. Right opposite the beach, surrounded by plenty of amazing restaurants and only 10 minute walk into old town. The hotel is attached to a supermarket which was ideal for us as it made it easy to get provisions and snacks etc. The room we had was huge with two balconies, so plenty of space for myself, partner and our baby. There was a fully equipped kitchen which was also handy. The room was cool and we usually only had to use the aircon for a short time when we came back in the middle of the day. The staff were amazing as well, really friendly and helpful. Huge shout out to Iota (apologies for my spelling) and the other guys who worked the bar and beach. They worked so hard and were always so happy!

We had one of the older rooms. There wasn’t a lot of storage space for clothes etc, and the shower head had broken off the wall so made showering a little awkward. I’m presuming they’ll be updated in time so it really was only a small issue. This didn’t affect our holiday, as we had a 4 month old baby, but the hotel bar was only open until 7ish if that’s something you look for in a hotel. The supermarket is open until late though, and has plenty of drink options, so can always buy something there. The pool area also only had a handful of sun beds and was quite small, again ideal for us with an infant, but perhaps not if you have older kids or spend a lot of time around the pool.

Excellent location - on beach front but also close to harbour and old town. Kept very clean especially given the challenge of beach sand. Having the supermarket connected was also a plus.

Mattress was just okay - I often woke with shoulder & hip discomfort. This improved by placing the bed cover under the bottom sheet & housekeeping kindly continued this practice for me. Breakfast was adequate & convenient but not that appealing - we generally preferred eating elsewhere.

Location

The furniture is old, and the studio with a sea view on the 3rd floor—including the bathroom—needs renovation. The photos do not reflect the actual condition of the property.. Balconies had ceiling lights that switched on automatically and stayed on until 1:00 am. This is highly inconvenient, making you feel as though you are on exhibition.
