Lovely apartment, nicely presented

Very well appointed, with everything you needed. Beautifully presented, comfortable and the amazing bonus of a heated swimming pool! It was a perfect base for us for our daily exploration of the island by bicycle. The hosts were delightful and made everything very easy for us. Also, the beach was easily reached by walking, meaning we didn’t need to use the car the whole time we were there.

It was all lovely, nothing to dislike. If we had to suggest something then I suppose the kitchenette was a bit of a tight squeeze if you wanted to prepare an evening meal, but perfectly well equipped.

This place has a wonderful self-cleaning hot tub which can admit a family. So even in the off-season, we could enjoy a calm and warm moment in the spa. Of course there is a bigger outside swimming pool available during the summer. We borrowed two nice bikes to take a ride to Saint-Martin-de-Ré through forests and wine yards. La Flotte is within walking distance. I think the clean and spacious room was recently renovated. The kitchen was well-equipped. The landlady was so kind to make a phone call to help me dining in the town. My son was happy as well and insisted on coming back some day.
