Afandou Bay Resort Suites

The hotel is a perfect stay for everyone who values tranquility and peace: 2 minute walk to the beach, no annoying noise, there are live music performances 3 days/week but they are only till 22:30 and they are also of great quality. Food was delicious, we stayed for 12 days and never were tired, everything was tasty. As a person with sensitive stomach I appreciated the dishes we got. There is a bar oj the territory of the hotel where one can have drinks and tasty lunch, and a minimarket for water and snacks. There a few restaurants with great seafood nearby but overall it's quite deserted, a village and a bigger supermarket is within 25 minutes walk. The stuff is super helpful and friendly be it calling a taxi or organizing a bday surprise. One also gets a bottle of clean water per room every day. In the rooms there is a capsule coffeemaker and you get free capsules every day: perfect for coffee lovers! There is also a mini-fridge but unfortunately no kettle. The sea was super warm in September (27 degrees), sun beds in 2026 cost 15 euros (per two), and in the hotel you get beach towels for free. I would recommend to get special shoes for walking and getting into the water since it's a rocky beach. Water is clean and super nice to swim in, but it gets deep very quick, probably not the best for kids. We've spent a wonderful vacation and would love to come back!

If you're looking for more touristic activities like renting a boat, buying souvenirs or booking tours, the location makes it a bit more difficult: you need to book a taxi to the nearest towns/villages. It's very calm and tranquil which can be downside for some. The internet speed is okay for vacations but if you're planning to work, keep in mind the best speed is either on the balcony (100 mb/s) or in the hotel's lobby (70 mb/s).

If you're looking for a quiet place, this is it. Getting around, only with a car/ taxi

Hotel is very modern and clean, conveniently located to explore both north and south of the island, just a short drive from Tsambika beach, staff is welcoming and friendly, we were upgraded to pool view room which was lovely and spacious, good reasonably silent AC system to make the room temperature comfortable in the heat, beds and pillows were great, good quality shampoo and shower gel but bring your own conditioner. Breakfast was good, pleased with the lactose free milk options and absolutely loved the omelette station! Our flight was late in the evening and we were offered a complimentary late check out on one of the rooms which was great as it allowed us to make the most of our last day of holiday!

Nothing really, I would say that if you don’t have a car there isn’t much in walking distance, also the beach near the hotel is a mix of sands and rocks so you may want to invest in some rocky beach shoes

La struttura è a metà strada fra molto luoghi d’interesse. È comodo per visitare da Rodi a Lindos senza perdere troppo tempo in macchina ( che è sicuramente da noleggiare perché, ad Afandou, non c’è nulla se non qualche ristorante ). L’accoglienza è stata ottima, Mary, alla reception, molto disponibile. Buono il servizio SPA ( a pagamento) Molto utile il minimarket all’interno della struttura rifornito per le esigenze che si possono avere in un soggiorno al mare. Buona la colazione ma prima delle 9, poi si trova molto poco

La struttura non è molto curata, ci sono delle zone lasciate andare. Viaggiavamo in compagnia e avevamo 2 suite e una familiare. Una di queste ha avuto un costante problema con l’aria condizionata ( mai realmente risolto ) La pulizia lascia molto a desiderare, la camera veniva rassettata non pulita. Per un 5 stelle bisognerebbe anche verificare ed eliminare le incrostazioni della vasca e verificare i doccini ( abbiamo dovuto farne cambiare uno ) Le piscine sono aperte dalle 10alle18, tempo troppo limitato per godersele e considerarle come servizio soddisfacente
