Quiet, spa was great, view from room, restaurant / food was excellent.
Unsavoury smell in reception!! Bed was uncomfortable - mattress could do with a change.

The bedrooms were of a good size, with plenty of room to put clothes and to store our golf clubs. The spa pool and sauna were very good. Breakfast was simple but done well.
It is a tired hotel, in need of serious investment. The golf course is in very poor condition, in part due to the heat & fires of the summer, but looked like it has been neglected for longer than that. The dinner menu at the brasserie is too small to warrant dining there for more than one night.
