Hotel del Mar

All was very relaxed. We could sit in the walled garden and drink/eat /chat if we wished during the day or evenings. . Our own things as the hotel only does breakfast. The director, Paolo could not have been more kind and helpful to us. Breakfast was very copious with a great variety of pastries cereals fruit ham cheses breads and tea coffe fruit juice etc. Paolo would alo make eggs and /or bacon if required. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Guests spoke to each other as all felt very comfortable. The area the hotel is in feels very safe even late in the evening.

There was nothing we didn't like. Our two twin rooms rooms were very good value for money indeed and it is a budget hotel so we did not expect business suites or luxury rooms. Or a bar, But you can bring in your own drinks as stated above. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great and the rooms had balconies if people wanted to smoke or drink ourside. The hotel has a reliable lift and chairs and inflatables you can just freely borrow to take to the beach. Also the hotel is very nesrthe beach and a short walk to the town;s main square. St Feliu is not full of High rise hotels but feels like a real town lived in by real people not just tourists. No-one tried to sell us postcards or necklaces or anything in the streets. We found it different that shops shut from 1,30 to 5pm but the restaurants stay open mainly. We were delighted with our stay at Hotel del Mar and with its director Paolo.

Excellent breakfasts, very helpful friendly manager and staff, very good value for money and good location. sunny room - good for drying swimming gear. Thank you to the manager and cleaners. I hope to be back and will recommend you.

Room was small and a bit tight, ditto bathroom.

Clean space, comfy bed, friendly owner, very convenient location, close to the beach.

The location was great very near the sea. The buffet breakfast was brilliant and great value. The staff were also lovely and there was bike storage
