Staff welcoming. Hotel quirky with beautiful decor. Stayed for one night and had a meal there. Staff in restaurant amazing and food delicious.
No parking on site and at extra cost 5 minutes away.

Lovely location, outdoor area is lovely and really nice atmosphere. Breakfast was great and the room nice too. Staff were lovely as well.

The terrace is great. The reception team are extremely helpful
Our room was on the second floor at the back and the window looked out at adjoining roof tiles. The loo didn't flush but was fixed whilst we were there. We are both elderly which meant dressing and finding a ground floor loo in the early hours which is hopeless. It is an old building but the floor creaks waking us both in the night when one of us is visiting the loo. We thought the room expensive for what it was. We have stayed there before in a better room on the first floor with a Solent view and would have paid more had such a room been available. We thought previously that there was only one upper floor not two so the extra stairs were unhelpful. We subsequently wrote to the proprietor but got no reply. It is a favourite hotel of ours so we were not impressed.
