First time I've ever given a hotel 10 out of 10. Fantastic view, location, staff, and room.

The room could not have been better. Super clean. Comfortable , spacious bedroom and bathroom. We wish we didn't have to leave. The breakfast was the best of our entire two week trip. The hosts were so nice and helpful.

The train infront of the hotel squeeks as it makes the turn into the station. This in no way reflects on the hotel. We wish the train could be fixed. Friends of ours who are in the railroad business say it is possible. We felt sorry for the local business near this train.

The location is great, very close to train station and great restaurants. their restaurant food is great as well. The hosts were wonderful and treated us like family. We would go back to Murren just to hang out with Jeanette and Thomas.

We very much liked the friendly owners, the great breakfast and the cleanliness.

The occasionally screeching train which isn‘t the owners‘ fault
