It is a hostel..... that said, we had a private bathroom, it was clean, quiet, had A/C and the manager, Alex, was great.
Bare bones room, but that was expected

The location was good. Quiet enough to be away from the main hustle of the city, but close enough to bars, restaurants and links to attractions.
The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night.
We stayed in room 5 with an ensuite. The shower cubicle was extremely small and we weren't allowed to put any paper down the toilet. As we were only staying for 3 nights it didn't detract from the experience, it just meant a bit of extra care had to be taken.
6 / 10Nella media·set 2026
The room itself was simple but comfortable. The bathroom is shared, but that actually wasn't a problem because, when we stayed there really weren't many other guests. Everything was quite adequate, admittedly not nearly good enough to justify the price point but then Barcelona is an expensive place so maybe it just comes with the territory.
We had quite some trouble checking in due to some difficulty communicating and some bad luck with timing. I'd advise coordinating with the management well in advance, and hope that nothing goes too wrong with travel plans.
