Hôtel Lilium Maris

Five perfect nights – we can't wait to return! Our 5-night stay at Hotel Lilium Maris was a real pleasure from start to finish. We were greeted warmly on arrival, shown to our room and given plenty of useful tips. The room I had originally booked had no sea view, but the owner generously offered to move us to a sea-view room upstairs. It had a large terrace, a spacious bedroom and a big bathroom. The terrace looked out over the entire bay, and watching the sunset from there was unforgettable. The room had everything we needed. It was cleaned daily, and shower gel, toilet paper and other essentials were topped up every day. The Wi-Fi was reliable for our whole stay. A lovely garden with lush green lawns and exotic plants sits between the hotel and the restaurant, and it looks magical when it's lit up at night. Everything was kept spotlessly clean, and we could see the plants and grounds being cared for every day. Parking is no problem: the hotel's fenced car park is paved and has lots of space. Security cameras cover the whole property and there's motion-sensor lighting, which made us feel safe. Reception also has brochures about the local area. Nearest beach is the Plage de Tizzano its about 50m from the Hotel. The hotel is in a superb spot, with a huge sandy beach just below it. On its left there are sand dunes, and little paths wind through the bushes up to the hill behind. The owner and every member of staff were kind and always ready to help, and we had no trouble communicating in English. We highly recommend Hotel Lilium Maris, and we'll certainly be coming back!

We couldn't find anything to complain about, because everything was just as we'd hoped. The hotel, the room and the service all went beyond our expectations.

Air con didn’t work amazingly but only an observation

Location was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The view from the balconies is breathtaking. The restaurant below the hotel was convenient for something to eat at the beach, but the food was just ok. Much better restaurants are within walking distance.

During the entire duration of our stay there was no wireless internet available. The shower rarely had warm water. When the wind blew strongly it made the most horrible sound in our room. Should be a 3 star hotel.
