Amazing location and views. Loved the hot tub on the third floor. Great for watching surfers, dolphins, and people.
Family of 8 adults stayed multiple nights over New Years and were pleased. Curtis was very helpful.
If you require modern, bright decore, might not be your choice, but if looking for clean, spacious house with great location and view this house is it.

The location of this house and it's size are just perfect, especially for a large family or group traveling together. Walking distance to everything and the views from the decks can't be beat. We'll definitely look at staying here again.

I and several friends have booked this same house for an annual long weekend several years in a row now. It never disappoints. The place is huge, the location is great, and we can walk and bike everywhere!

The location speaks for itself. Nothing can beat it. Steps away from the beach, a sunset view that is difficult to beat.
However, the house was not very clean. The floors and bathrooms were not at the level of expectations we have when we rent through VRBO. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and spices….there are no toiletries so be prepared to bring those items immediately.
The garage is not a two car garage. It’s one car with space for bikes, etc. the garage door does not close so leaving the house was inconvenient as you had to lock the door from the inside and walk around the front to lock up completely.
The owner is responsive. Met us upon arrival and showed us around. If we are to stay in SD again, I don’t think we will stay here again. We paid a pretty penny for a higher expectation.

We make a few trips down to Mission Beach each year with family and friends. We love the area and weather and our chance to relax at the beach! Curtis has a very cozy and eclectic home. We enjoyed the location between Belmont and Pacific Beach. The accomodations were great for our large family and less than half of us were able to book time to travel to the area. We were able to settle in immediately and enjoy our time together. Thank you for the hospitality!

Curtis was awesome at check-in, gave us a tour of the house and some good food advice around the area. We've been coming to mission Beach for 15 years 2 to 3 times a year and this place is my favorite! We're actually staying there for a week in October.

This property is all about locatin which is phenomenal, especially having s couple young kids. The biggest issue with this property is the cleanliness. I honestly don't know why they charge a cleaning fee because the place was disgusting. The dishwasher doesn't clean anything and we had to hand wash everything and buy paper products. There is no pantry space which makes it difficult when you don't plan on going out to eat for every meal. We wound up buying Lysol wipes and cleaning heavily trafficked and touched areas because we were so grossed out. The wipes were black from the kitchen counter! I kept socks on myself and my kids the whole time because the floors were disgusting. Additionally is listed as a 5 bedroom but the 5th bedroom/ "Zen Den" doesn't have a 4th wall and you have to walk through it to get to bedroom #4. We would never stay there again and only recommend it for others if the single purpose for staying there is location

This house is situated smack dab in between PB, Belmont Park and Mission Bay. Definitely bring bikes with you if possible. The house has everything else (beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels). We will definitely be coming back!

This property is perfectly situated halfway between Belmont Park and Crystal pier on Mission Beach. Within walking distance to so many great bars and restaurants. Fun people watching from the decks. It was exactly what we were looking for.

The floors had not been swept or cleaned, the carpets hadn't been cleaned or washed in a very long time. our adult daughters refused to take showers due to the dirty shower stalls. One of our kids got into bed, the first night and discovered sand in the sheets! obviously, the place had not been thoroughly cleaned at all. All of the bedding was striped and washed, due to the disgusting Oder. Furniture was old and ratty, hasn't been replaced, or cleaned in years. No one walked around the house barefoot, shoes were mandatory. This perfect location with spectacular views, was ruined by the inappropriate sate of this property. During our stay, the garage door broke and we had to raise and lower by hand. Based on the cost of this property, the provided amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms were lacking. Listed as a luxury property, this is not at accurate.

The prior occupants caused a little disruption at check in but Curtis and his team handled the problems efficiently and professionally. Location was great, right on the beach, and we’ll located for travel to San Diego proper or points north. The weather was less cooperative.

This is not a secluded getaway --the first floor windows open directly onto the bustling boardwalk but noise was not an issue and the rooms can all be made totally private with the press of a button/shades slide down. Maybe not the best for toddlers due to the slightly precarious deck barriers but great for most families and groups as well as couples.

Second time staying at this property and we always have a blast. I love the location because it’s just a walk to the games , food, and beach is literally in your backyard. So many stunning views from the patio to the roof top even in the hot tub. Just fun in the sun !

The house was great for my family of 8. We had plenty of room and a large family room to gather in. We loved the hot tub and the views were fabulous. The two-car garage is very tight. We had a Camry and a Malibu; they were parked as closely together as we could fit them without hitting each other. The large front windows were great during the day, but they had no window coverings and people could look right into the house. The kitchen has four sets of pots and pans, which left no room to store the food that we brought. There is a variety of odd spices, so we were glad for the ones that we brought. The bathroom had plenty of towels and hand soap, but no shampoo or body wash. There were beach toys and chairs, but they are well-used and the chairs are pretty broken down. Overall, we enjoyed the area. It felt safe. The house met our needs but did not overwhelm us. The owner was quick to respond but did not always answer my questions. I also went to use the bathroom in our bedroom right after we got there and the toilet seat was up. When I put it down, there was pee on the seat. Definitely not as clean as I expected.

We watched dolphins while drinking wine in the hot tub! Master bedroom was amazingly big, bed comfortable. Location was great, garage included, two refriderators. Would give it a 5, but keys didn't work, heat did not work and master bedroom shower dripped. 5th 'bedroom' was a bed in a room with little to no privacy. Oh, but the veiw, location and dolphins!
