Nice staff, clean room and in the city heart.

It was very hot in the room, meaning too warm.

Very clean and newly renovated room. It was quite big, almost a 'mini-suite' with a sleeping compartment and a separate area with sofa and chairs. Staff really friendly. Breakfast good, with fine selection of youghurts, mueslis, fresh fruit, fruit salad, scrambled eggs, sausages - and the usual bread rolls and spread.

The hotel (or maybe just the season - we came mid-July) was overpriced. Euro 225 for a double room (although big) in a small town in a not very fashionable part of Germany is a lot in my opinion. Room was clearly 'a strange addition' to the hotel, it was the newest and probably a former attic. It meant two small windows with no view whatsoever, and they had not put up proper curtains meaning it was very bright in the morning (from 4 am) and evening (until 21 pm).. Windows could not be opened because of extremely noisy sea gulls just outside windows -this meant the room was hot and stuffy.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a nice and big room newly renovated. The breakfast was super. There were no lunch or dinner at the hotel, but good restaurants not far away. We expect to return in the future.
