Hotel Villa Rita

Homely feel, beautiful grounds, old country charm.

Electric pin to activate power to room was a bit glitchy. Property located a little bit in the middle of somewhere and nowhere but walking distance from Paestum ruins and Bufallo farm.

The location was great, just a couple minutes drive to beaches and the pool was fantastic. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The included breakfast was pretty good and it was really convenient having the onsite restaurant open for lunch and dinner. We also appreciated that they were very dog friendly.

The room was very noisy. Most of the rooms are in the main house, although some are in external bungalows. We were in the main house and heard every single time someone took a step above us or walked down the hallway, doors opening and closing, and even some of the noises coming from the lobby and restaurant. The bedding was very firm, which some people might like, but I personally found it uncomfortable. Also, the WiFi worked well in the lobby but was very poor in the room.

Nice pool, reasonably good location, good food with very good service.

Room was only just big enough and Kids were not happy they had to wear swim caps in the pool

Sulla pagina booking La colazione è definita come "favolosa". In realtà è una normale colazione allineata ad un albergo tre stelle di medio livello. Trovo fastidioso che l'ospite debba indicare la sera prima (per fortuna non è vincolante) quali alimenti si vogliano per la mattina. La parte relativa alla ristorazione è decisamente modesta. Soprattutto per il contrasto che creano tra l'aspettativa e la pietanza servita. Da menzionare in negativo il tortino di alici e patate. Le patate... c'erano. Le alici erano solo in rappresentanza in numero di quattro cinque poste a mo' di decorazione. Nel complesso un hotel tre stelle che vale neanche un filo in più di tre stelle.
