Very clean and modern amenities comfortable beds We had booked the dinner and the breakfast and the food was glorious! Location is right in the middle of the little shops leading to the stunning temple so very busy just outside your door
Located on a busy street leading up to the Zenkoji temple so very busy

Very friendly people, the location is amazing, directly in the temple street, and the room very cozy, with its own shower and toilet (I assume the „shared bathroom“ in the description refers to the shared onsen of the hotel). I booked for another night a room in a close by temple (shukobo), and beside that the temple provides a guide for the morning session, it did not make a difference at all. So next time I would just book here!
Nothing it was perfect

Wonderful family owned ryokan. The best traditional Japanese breakfast we've tried among dozens. the hotel is located very close to the temple. The owners are very attentive!
Nothing to complain.
