Individual air con units in the rooms (once we got the exhaust pipe hooked up and out the window) were a great addition, the beds are really comfy the rooms (in general) were clean although our bathroom was very tired and water damaged and the shower wasn't working in the second room. Amazing views of the sunset and hot air balloons from the balcony on the landing.

Had to stay as the other hotel in Briey was full. We stayed back when this first opened and it feels like it has gone backwards. The outdoor terrace was unusable, the restaurant and bar were closed but they didn't notify us in advance. The check in was LATE (around 5pm) but we thought we could arrive at the end of our 6 hour drive and have a drink whilst waiting to check in but found the hotel locked and in darkness. Did manage to get hold of someone who didn't really seem to know when we were staying/ how much we had to pay etc. Showed us to two rooms we think one hadn't been fully prepped (possibly slept in the previous night). Managed to get food from the local Lidl but although to restaurant was made up ready for service (despite being shut) it wasn't possible to use it or get bar service. Check out again had to phone to get hold of someone so we could continue on our journey. It's got amazing views and is on the edge of a pretty town it could be amazing, but it's run down and felt like the Mary Celeste!
