No room service. Had to hunt for toilet paper Noisy at night

If you are looking a budget hotel it is ok

Having to ask for toilet paper and water didn't see to many people about hotel jus a girl on reception and she was only there at times front door was always open and with no security but in the end was OK

Huge room, with a nice balcony. Cleaned daily upon request, and all basic necessities replenished. Big comfy bed, and decent shower, with plentiful hot water.

Reception was often AWOL. Guests have access to a side door, for daily comings and goings. But this is left open at all times, so not ideal security. Did ask for a bulb to be replaced in the room on the first day. This unfortunately never happened, maybe an electrics issue? I don't know, but I didn't bother pressing further.

The Villa is beautiful we stayed in Villa 9 for 9 nights the bed is so comfortable, the shower is nice, we really loved sitting out on our porch most mornings and evenings. it’s perfect if you are budgeting and can make food in the villa with the basic electric hot plate. the air con works really well to whatever temperature. it’s in a great location close to all the local bars/restaurants with a selection of street foods/Thai/western

Perfect town location, but not noisy. Value for money. Nice balcony. Lots of restaurants and food nearby. Beach is a 5 minute walk. Great service. Very comfortable. Reception and hotel is just off the main road, not at the bungalows in the back.

Beautiful spacious villa, nice territory with tropical plants, good cleaning in the room, decent kitchen equipment. Only vegetable oil and salt were missing, but this is not a big problem. Although the hotel is located near the center, it is fenced and there is no noise around at all. Close to the beach. The water was clean and pleasant in the morning. In the afternoon it was dirty from algae. After the storm, plastic garbage was washed up on the beach, but for the most part, it was removed from the beach by hotel staff. But such a problem is now all over Koh Samui. Around there are many cafes and restaurants for different tastes. Overall, a wonderful holiday experience.

There were electrical problems. If you turn on the air conditioner, fan and take a warm shower, the boiler knocked out and hot water disappeared

Room was nice & spacious and had a nice big balcony which we loved! Bed was company and location was good.

Shower was sometimes not hot, we had a couple of luke warm/ cold showers which isn’t the end of the world.

I feel like I was mislead by the photos and advert on booking.com this needs investigating. The lamia plaza residence is a hotel. It does not contain villas like in the photos. I feel like I was mislead on the booking as I booked an apartment but got a hotel room. Also, I feel like the hotel had no concern for guest safety or well being. I am by no means a health and safety bod, but I expect some basics. Front desk - was not 24/7. Even when open staff were hard to get hold of. We weren't given an out of hours number Safety - when out of hours, the side door was left insecure and it would not lock. This meant any person from the street could just walk into the hotel unchallenged. Fire - not a fire alarm in sight. No fire escape plan, no fire exits. Didn't see any extinguishers. It beggers belief this is allowed in a civilised country such as Thailand. And even worse. Booking.com allow people to book it. A fire alarm costs £5. Buy some for the hotel and save some lives!! Additionally: There was a very large gap in the balcony door I could fit my finger in. This let in insects and lots of noise from the street. The room was clean but a bit grimey in places. The bedsheets had stains Only one plug available. We request a double bed, but what we got was two single beds pushed together. It was not comfortable.

The villas are excellent, every thing you could ask for. They were cleaned every day, clean towels, water and toilet roll provided. There was AC, a safe, kitchen and a big comfy bed. About a 5 - 10 min walk to the beach and nice and peaceful. Would defo recommend 😊.

We had just booked 3 nights in the hotel, after one night we went to view the villas, the hotel rooms were ok but we were facing the market so was a bit noisy.

* staff * cleaning * equipment. You have almost everything in the kitchen: pan, pot, toaster, induction stove, microwave, kettle. But it would be very appreciated if it would be a salt in the kitchen for guests. * terrace and garden * the air conditioning doesn’t blow on the bed.

The main door lock and the shower need a renovation.
