Location is perfect and room was clean (despite broken seal around base of the toilet causing that area to smell like a urinal)
The pool isn’t closed off to just hotel guests - it is a community pool. The loungers/umbrellas are hogged and “busy” with no one sitting/using them. Outdoor cafe staff didn’t come back to take our order after leaving menus so we went elsewhere. Breakfast is ok.

Too early closing of swimming pool. It is not the fault of the hotel, but generally the city is "dead", with limited tourist attractions.

The pool, the breakfasts, the spacious vip suite, the location right along the Danau, the restaurant, the pleasant, accommodating staff.
Rooms showed small signs of Eastern European workmanship -- curtain hook falling out of the wall, exposed wire taped in the bathroom, poor lighting, etc.

the location is excellent
it’s dated/ our bathroom had mold and water damage and overall was not clean/ our room was exceptionally loud as well (noise from the parking lot and the restaurant/ breakfast )
staff was also rude
breakfast - very limited choices and not sufficient amount of food for the number of guests, by the time we got there (9:15ish) the plates were nearly empty and never refilled

An excellent hotel alternative in Vidin with private secure parking, friendly and English-speaking staff and a perfect location close to the Danube and city center. Breakfast is excellent and healthy, wifi options fully OK as well as international TV channels. Good value for money. Free access to pool area is also top service!

The location is great near the Danube river. 10 mins wslk from bus station. Good breakfast. Very nice swimming pool. Nice town and interesting museums, but without a car nothing much to do in Vidin.

Beautiful river-front/park location. A short walk from Baba Vida fortress. The pool and summer garden also make it pleasant.

The room was very clean and the bed confortable. The location is very nice, with a Danube view, right in front of a park, and close to restaurants and historical landmarks. The parking is ok. The a la carte breakfast was good.
The staff could smile more, nevertheless they were helpfull
