We stayed here for 1 night; apparently it is known for horse riding. The newly renovated rooms are wonderful, the bed was super comfortable. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff is very friendly. We would stay here again.

The older rooms could need a renovation.

A wonderful place, particularly if you love Icelandic horses – there are more than 300 horses at the property. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom, excellent beds and a nice view over the fields. We also had a door leading directly outside, which was a very nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and generous, with waffles, scrambled eggs, Skyr and plenty of other choices. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The main reason we chose the hotel was an all day riding tour for my daughter. Dinner was another highlight. I had the lamb and my daughter had the cod. Both dishes were excellent, with slightly unusual and interesting combinations that worked really well. There is also hot tube, although I didn’t have the chance to try it.

Nothing really to complain about.

Great staff. Clean but plain rooms. Horse back riding was stellar.

Pretty expensive. Welcome to Iceland.
