Hotel Mohren

Alles bestens ! Betreuung hervorragend !

Busse immer überfüllt !

The breakfast was excellent. The view and the seating arrangement on the balcony was great. The facilities were very comfortable. There was sufficient parking.

Unfortunately, the check in hours are very strict - only from 11:00 to 16:00. You cannot arrive outside these hours. This needs to be very clearly stated before making a reservation. The email correspondence with the staff was cold - no greeting and no understanding for arriving outside those hours. It is not difficult to make a code or some other kind of accommodations for late-arriving guests. The hotel name is Mohren, which is German for Moors and is the oldest (now unacceptable) German word for Black people. There is a porcelain statue of a Black man at the hotel entrance. As a Black person, I find this inappropriate and offensive. I understand if the name cannot change, but the statue and any other reference to Black people should be removed.

Ganz tolles Frühstück und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Zentral gelegen.
