Our stay at the Aquaterrace hotel was a delightful breath of fresh air. This small-scale hotel provides a more intimate experience with its limited number of rooms, which we greatly appreciated. We spent one night in the lower room, which was spacious and adorned with delicately placed frangipani flowers everywhere, including the bathroom, adding a romantic touch. The sea view is simply stunning, visible from the bedroom, toilet, and bathroom. The toiletry products are of excellent quality, and the private little terrace is a real bonus. It is cozy, equipped with a mobile table that allows for working while enjoying the view, and offers direct pool access and the option to have breakfast delivered without extra charge. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious, with a special mention for the Japanese dishes offered. The only significant downside for us was the internet connection. Since we work remotely, a reliable Wi-Fi connection is essential. Unfortunately, the network was insufficient for our professional needs, which prevented us from extending our stay, although we would have liked to. This aspect is crucial for remote workers and might need some improvement.

The location of this accommodation is absolutely perfect. The view is worth a million dollars! So peaceful and relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The bed was a little firm for my personal preference but that was a very minor thing. The view makes everything worthwhile.

The view is absolutely stunning! The infinite pool facing the vast ocean is just beyond words. We had breakfast everyday at the balcony facing the sea, and there is a little pathway directly from the hotel to the beach, where you can go snorkelling right a way.

There are lots of local worms around. We don't mind at all, as they are not harmful and it's great respect to mother nature that they don't get killed by chemical pesticides. The hotel simply integrates the local biodiversity into the property.

Friendlyness of the staff!!!! Sorry to notice that but bali is famous for the kindness and friendliness of the locals - not so in aquaterrace!

swimmingpool way to hot and dirty. if you want to cool of this is not the place. location with a lot of stairs, not suitable for children lot of ants and other insects in the room. lot of good reviews but found it disappointing

The views from the Cliffside resort are incredible. The beach is across the street at their other resort. The room was nicely decorated and had high end aromatherapy chemical free bath products. Food isn’t really safe here though. My dry omelette was loose and runny. At first I thought it was the cheese I added. Cheese was forgotten, the undercooked egg had travelled all over the plate, cross contaminating all! Avoid milk here too as it was served warm, not purposeful expresso warm. Regardless, that was enough to give me salmonella poisoning. That started in the afternoon, ruining the rest of my trip and causing me to miss an expensive prepaid course because I had to go to the hospital. I’m still severely ill. If you watch your food, this is a fine place to visit. Amed just has different food safety and prep approaches than $$$ expat / hotel places like Canggu, Seminyak, Uluwatu and Ubud

We had an amazing stay at aquaterrace in Amed! The view is beautiful, and there is a small beach you can snorkel on just a few meters from the hotel. The staff were perfect, always smiling. You can rent snorkeling gear and scooter there, and there is also free transport from the hotel to nearby beaches. The food was also really good, and you order easy to your room or the pool via WhatsApp. Nice private sunbeds by the pool, and really nice pool as well. Would absolutely recommend!
