Pensión La Ola

La cama tenia el colchón muy blando y el plato de ducha estaba roto.

Small little pension, California feel as surrounded by palm trees, people jogging on the path in front of the rooms, and the sea shimmering behind. And the sandy beach right behind. Rooms have AC, and are quite comfy, but not luxurious.

Rooms are rather small, got a ground floor room this time and there was some mould in the showers. Breakfast coffee would also benefit from a self serve, despite friendly but super busy staff.

La ubicación es inmejorable. Incluso puedes aparcar prácticamente en la puerta (fuera de la época del verano). Además me dio la sensación de un restaurante muy familiar en el que conocían a muchos de sus clientes. La comida genial

El sumidero de nuestra ducha estaba bastante atascado. Y una cosa a renovar sería las almohadas. En las camas de matrimonio ya hace mucho que no se usan las almohadas largas, es mucho más cómodo almohadas individuales. El desayuno nos resultó un poco escaso.

The location is perfect, right on the beach and close enough to shops and Castellon city.

The beds are old. The service at the restaurant (which is part of the guesthouse) in the evening is terrible. Rude waitress, telling us off for not waiting at the right place to be seated. This experience made us very negative about our stay and left a sour taste in our mouths. Our door entrance card wasn´t working. The breakfast was appalling. I have paid more than 90 euros per night, at least serve a decent breakfast, but as everything else, it looks like it is all slapped together. ¨Buffet´ with sandwich ham and sandwich cheese, croissants, toast, apples, or oranges. Overboiled eggs (which nobody ate, or could eat). Yes, the location is great, but the rooms are small, and the beds are uncomfortable, as mentioned before. Not worth it; I would not recommend this place and would rather pay more and stay in a hotel in the area.
