Het Houten Paard

Location

This place is very good. A big room and bathroom. Very clean and comfortable with coffee maker and kettle. Franky encouraged me to put my motorbike in his garage, which is a real bonus in a busy town. It's a ten minute walk to the Menin Gate and town centre. The ramparts walk is also close by. Highly recommended.

The only slight negative is that if you have mobility problems you might be affected by the steep and narrow staircase.

Easily accessible to town centre . Very clean and neat the room.

Where to start? We checked in for 4 nights and loved every second of our stay. This BnB is outstanding and a credit to the owner Franky who was so friendly, helpful and his attention to detail 100% on point 👌 Very clean 2 bedroom apartment, with kitchenette & a life saver was the air con in both bedrooms was so needed and the rooms had everything you needed, coffee machines, plenty of seating & storage and free WiFi it was such a great stay! This will be my go to place now every time I come to Ypres & when visiting the WW1 battle sites. To Franky thank you 🙏 your place really made the trip for us was so good meeting you.

Nothing at all it was perfect 👌 Perfect location & Clean
