Really big cottage, loads of space. There were two of us but plenty of room for four, especially as there are really two living rooms if you want to do separate things.
Garden is huge and great if you have a dog. A big lurcher may be able to jump out in one corner but the garden is very secure with big hedges and stock fences too.
The pictures don't make it clear that the garden is about 35m square. It's a lovely big area.
Also the pictures don't show the new bathroom suite.
Yes, the rest of it is dated but perfectly functional and tidy.
If you have the OS map there are great walks from the door. You will have to lift your dog over a lot of the Stiles as they don't have many with dog holes. Roads are also very quiet and some great wooded hills.
We would have stayed longer than a week if we could.
Bed wasn't very comfortable but I like soft beds. Still slept fine.
