We had a great stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and in a great location for everything. It’s on the third floor so the views from the balcony are stunning. You can walk to Isola Bella and to the little local beach. The cable car up to Taormina centre is only a short walk. You can walk all the way to Taormina if you are feeling active enough. There’s also a bus to take you up there. There are loads of restaurants and bars nearby the apartment. Definitely recommend Bell Assai but you need to book. It’s small and very popular. There is a little pizzeria next door to the apartment which has great pizza. The apartment had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The space was big and the kitchen had plenty in it. The only thing it didn’t have was an oven, although there was a hob. But we didn’t need it any way. Great to have a washing machine and clothes dryer too. The washing machine was cleaner than my own at home! The owner Riccardo, and Sandy who manages the property, were really helpful and attentive. Parking in the area is really tricky, with some interesting manoeuvres going on. The apartment has a deal with the hotel opposite where you can park in their underground secure parking for a fee. It was about €25 a day which I know sounds expensive. But honestly having peace of mind that we could park nearby and that the car was safe was worth every penny. You can pay upfront for the whole time you are there and they are really friendly and helpful. It’s basically like valet parking. You just call them when you want the car and they bring it out.

The only negative in this fantastic place that I can put is that when the ventilation pipe on the roof of the next door building is in use the top that spins makes a rattling noise when you are sat on the balcony. It only seems to be when the little pizzeria next door is open. Also, that’s not the fault of the owner.

Location was great, lovely apartment with comfortable furnishings and good quality finishing touches. Host was really easy to contact, responded immediately. Would highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a fantastic location near Mazzaro beach and cable car/bus to Taormina. The two balconies are huge and the views are amazing from both. The place is spotlessy clean. The beds are really comfortable and the AC is in both living room and bedroom and was well used as it was roasting when we were there! Although we didn't meet them, Ricardo was very quick to respond to any queries and checked in with us a few times. Sandy was really nice and helped us out when we needed to store our bags. I would definitely stay again if going to Taormina again

The apartment is on the top floor so a few flights of stairs up without a lift which was no problem for us but might be for anybody with mobility issues. A parasol on the balcony would be a good addition and maybe some cushions for the sun beds. And, for the Irish and British visitors a few tea bags in the kitchen would be great.
