Fantastic location, comfortable rooms and excellent service. Staff were excellent and able to advise us of a short way to get to the village and find a restaurant. The Abbey was quite amazing and we had an enjoyable morning exploring it.
Disappointed that, when I booked three months ahead of our stay, the hotel restaurant was already fully booked. However, the recommendation of alternative restaurants within walking distance (almost) made up for it.

Stunning location and first class food in the bistro restaurant. We loved the fact that as a guest you had evening access to the whole abbey complex which when we visited was almost completely deserted. A very cool experience.
We arrived at 4pm on a very hot day after a long drive and still had to wait quite a while for our room to be cleaned. The lady on reception was very apologetic though, and very helpful with any requests we had.

It was a unique experience, so special. The restaurant in the cloister added an excellent experience too. The staff were super helpful.

Lovely setting.
Ermits baskets were overpriced and not very nice.
The bedroom was stuffy and very hot and the fan was inefficient and just boxing warm air.
