Orchard Side Bed and Breakfast

Freshly cooked with local ingrediants and served hot

Lucy and i found gigi a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to make our stay at orchard side a pleasureable experience. Breakfast was cooked well in an air fryer which is a heslthy option and incredibly tasty. There is nothing bad to say about gigi shes a lovely person whom also picked us up from the train station and on our last day gave us a lift back to the train station, plus gigi took us out for a coffee at the MG motors cafe where i was bowled over to see my favourite make of car, morgan. And on a final note barnaby poodle cross is great fun and good company, he has a wonderful temperament and we love him to bits and of course gigi whom we are both very fond of. Keep it up my lovely, you are simply the best host and nicest person we have had the pleasure to have met, and keep smiling lovely lady it suits you. 10 out of 10 for best short break ever. And the other guests were nice and friendly, you know who you are, take care hope to see gigi and barnaby in the future. I highly recommend gigi's guest house to anyone whom likes that home from home experience.xx

Theres nothing to report, everything was amazing.

Everything, it was really lovely. The bed/pillows were comfortable. It was great value for money, the breakfast was superb. Gi Gi the host was excellent as other reviews have said there is so much paid attention to detail plus she was so welcoming. My bedroom also had a dressing room, en-suite shower room and balcony. The garden was lovely too - I could go on. I definitely will be back & wouldn’t go anywhere else in this area 😁

Nothing

Gigi was incredible! She has a way of making you feel welcomed. Its the true Bed & Breakfast experience. We stayed in the annex with a kitchen but are so glad we ended up adding breakfast. Gigi did such a good rate for it plus we got to try her wonderful breakfasts. Overnight oats to die for! And, for our pleasure she also had plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The room is charming but up to date, very clean and with everything you might need. Bathroom is remodelled. The outside area of the garden with the Koi pond and relaxing area was such a nice surprise. And Barnaby, Gigi's sweet and very well behaved puppy was a pleasure to have around! Gigi also drove us to the venue of the wedding we had to go to, and on my last day drove me to the station :) Can't wait to return someday. We miss you Gigi and Barnaby!
