What an absolute gem in Greater Kruger. Thoroughly enjoyed the piece and quiet. Agnes was super welcoming and made sure I had the best stay. I will definitely be back!

The bushcamp feel that the place has.

The aircon in the unit wasn't very effective. I didn't feel safe that they couldn't give me a key to lock my chalet door at night.. I think they definately should have stated on the website that the treacherous roads need a 4x4 vehicle. But most of all I felt deceived that they didn't state clearly on the website that there would be 2 extra charges: a gate fee of R300 that MUST be paid in CASH. And then at the camp they charged me an extra R264 that they claimed I still owed. I have no idea why. I feel treated unfairly and I don't think I'll be returning.

the host Agnes and personnel are so lovely, caring and fun people. they know a lot about the animals around the place and are telling you all about it! very welcome and warm people, instant living room vibes. The food is very nice!

Agnes provided a cozy yet full of fun and energy atmosphere during our stay and made us feel like we were visiting family. The rooms are spacious, food is delicious and you can spot animals at the river or go for a game drive during the day. In the evening, we sat together at the bonfire, enjoyed a bottle of wine and had dinner together. Would fully recommend! lots of love anne & felix

That booking.com debitted R1605 instead of the R1380 that was on their website. How do you reach time to sort this out???

The staff and owner were very helpful and great company. The food was generous and tasty. The game walk and game drives were very productive and informative. It's a must do! Saw lions and wild dogs while I was there as well as good sightings of plains game. Bird life is really good as well... Especially around camp. Special mentions to Drikus & Agnes. Great game drives and many thanks for showing me around Parsons. Thanks for being such a great hosts.

Nothing really

Agnes has been an exceptional host for us! We spent three nights and enjoyed every second of it. Our highlights were the delicious homemade meals, the sight of hippos in the river, the game drive, the bushwalk and the pleasant company of our hosts.

The breakfast was good. We enjoyed it. Your place is besutifull. We love nature. Love the big tree's

We would love to have a fridge in the chalet and also n ceiling fan above the bed.

Friendly & welcoming staff with good knowledge of the surrounding areas & wildlife. Spacious & clean cottage with comfy beds & well equipped kitchen. Braai facilities & swimming pool. We've enjoyed the fresh home made breakfast.

We were not made aware of conservation fees and car entry fee. However, we had no objection to paying it, but would have been good if we had been given the heads up.

This property appears to be in a nice setting and could be good but it is not really run as a lodge. The buildings look reasonable but I stayed in the self catering cottage and found that the kitchen has been removed, so it is not self catering. Also it leaked when it rained, and I mean flooded, as did the main building and there are no keys provided. WIFI and phone reception is very poor when it works. It is a long drive in and the roads in Parsons are very rough so a 4x4 is definitely recommended.

The main thing for me was that the property is essentially used by the owners family and friends rather than for guests. There was always someone at the pool and for the 3 nights I stayed they were using the lapa and brai, unusual as the owner has a house with pool and deck next door. You are not prevented from using the facilities but you will need to work in with the owners and friends. Some may find this appealing but I felt uncomfortable and like I was intruding into someones home. The owner is quite terse and ironically not a lover of animals. She hates the elephants because they damage her trees, shoots baboons because they are annoying and her dog attacked a warthog piglet. For me this place was a weird and uncomfortable experience.
