Very nice and clean property. Hosts were welcoming and ensured crib and baby chair. A lot of thoughtful details throughout the apartment. Location was perfect, very close to shops and restaurants (walking distance). Free parking right next to the house.

Our bed was comfy but the other family staying in other bedroom said theirs was too soft(and their room curtains were not complete black-out). Not a complain but note for others to check coffee maker and spices before going to groceries not to have plain breakfast without coffee:) (btw Dolce Gusto capsules work for that coffee maker)

Note that we got a free upgrade to another property by the same owner called Prieka Villa and the review is for this one. It was big and spacious, we were traveling with two familis so it appropriately had 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with separate beds where the kids could stay. The kitchen had so much room for everyone to make food and eat together. There is a lovely garden to hang out in and a grocery store just next door. Very short walk to center and quick drive to all the nearby attractions. Quiet street, no traffic noise. Comfortable beds, slept well (with a baby). Private parking for many cars. Very easy checkin, with the owner next door. Would stay again when in Sigulda.

Excellent mattresses, clean apartment, nice to have a sauna available in the apartment.

Unfortunately, the apartment is quite dark and lacks natural light, which was a bit disappointing as it appeared much brighter in the Booking photos. Additionally, the two windows don't provide quite enough airflow for proper ventilation. Regarding the kitchen, having only a single-burner stove makes cooking very difficult; paying a bit more attention to these details would really elevate the overall quality of the place. Finally, there isn't a proper table to sit and eat comfortably, and we weren't sure how to make practical use of the single high bar stool provided. Additionally, the Booking.com listing indicated that we would be greeted in person (which was one of the main reasons we chose this property). However, this wasn't the case, as the check-in instructions were simply sent through the platform's messaging system.
