The hotel was beautiful, the staff were excellent and spoke perfect English, breakfast was lovely and so was the afternoon tea. Sitting in the hot tubs on the roof was very romantic!
The only negative thing I can say about this place is that the shower head was a bit rubbish but still functional

Everything…..but the people make a nice place into a special place and we loved our stay at Pousada Rubi because the people (and Wesley the cat!) made it special. The food is exceptional. Coffee and cake is a lovely touch. The location next to lovely bars and restaurants and walks with a fantastic view of the beach is just perfect. Beds are comfy, showers great, hot tub and sauna are a welcome treat. Everything is spotlessly and beautifully cared for.
Nothing. We had miserable weather and still loved it.

Home away from home. The welcome, staff, food, ambience, safety, cleanliness all 5*. I would go back in a heartbeat.
Only one thing external noise - take ear plugs!

"Ci siamo subito sentiti come a casa, pulito, curato in ogni dettaglio. Gabi e tutto lo staff oltre ad essere sempre gentili sorridenti ci hanno coccolato . Il costo a prima vista mi era sembrato alto ..."
