Our stay at “Les 4 Abres” was truly unforgettable. This is much more than just a beautiful place to stay—it is a very special sanctuary that immediately makes you slow down, relax, and feel at home. The tranquility of the place, the beautiful natural surroundings, the organic and lovingly prepared food, and above all the incredible warmth and hospitality of the hosts make “Les 4 Abres” a truly unique experience. From the very first moment, communication was seamless, every request was accommodated with great kindness, and we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. We were particularly impressed by the exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the entire property. Both the beautiful grounds and the bedrooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean, extremely well maintained, and clearly cared for with a great deal of love. It is honestly one of the cleanest and best-maintained accommodations we have experienced during all of our travels in Indonesia. There are so many special details that make this place unforgettable: taking a shower outdoors surrounded by nature, sleeping in bedrooms filled with fresh air, and looking up at one of the most breathtaking starry skies imaginable. The food is absolutely outstanding—fresh, organic, and prepared with so much care and passion. And one experience not to be missed is Olivier’s own Arac cocktail creation - it was incredibly delicious.! “Les 4 Abres” is a place we will never forget. But what makes it truly extraordinary is not only the beauty and peacefulness of the place itself—it is also the wonderful, warm, and inspiring people behind it. We wholeheartedly recommend “Les 4 Abres” to anyone looking for something truly special. We are already looking forward to the day we can return, hopefully for a much longer stay, to this magical place and to the people who made our time there so memorable. Thank you for everything. What a lovely place to rest and relax in. We stayed in the main chalet which had four rooms and a huge shared verandah . There are also sunbeds and hammocks in the shade of trees. You can have your delicious and filling breakfast served wherever you want. Good powerful showers in the shared ablutions, plus a partly screened outdoor shower if you want. Olivier was helpful with suggestions and we hired bikes to cycle to the river mouth at the beach. Rensa cooked delicious meals, especially the grilled fish which you need to order in advance. If you want it, you can get some phone reception a little along the road towards the beach. It was actually nice to be offline though!

It’s not a big deal, but just a note that in the main accommodation building with 4 seperate bedrooms, the tops of the walls are open, so you can hear everything in the other rooms, although muffled! There are other seperate buildings available. We were alone most of our stay so it didn’t bother us.

It is isolated, quiet with amazing grounds/accomodation. Great outdoor shower.
